This is the village of St George in North Wales, drawn from a photo taken when we were there five years ago.
You will notice that the colours are a bit different; that is partly because I have not yet made much progress at photographing my sketches so as to show the correct colours, in spite of expert advice from Matthew.
Just behind the church, where you can't see them in the sketch or the photo are a row of cottages.

St George is significant for our family because the church in the centre of the village was where Karen and Terry were married a quarter of a century ago!
Within an easy drive is Conwy Castle.
This is another site with family connections, tenuous ones I admit, which will become clearer when we come to Section 2 of the Family history.
