Two heads and two buildings

These two from the newspaper around Anzac Day, veterans both:

 

 

 

 This is the District Council yard in the early morning, from the hill across the street.

 

We used to live next door (1981-84), and every morning they started work at 5 30, so we got used to all the trucks taking off in low gear, and grinding down the street to the corner!

 

 

I used to work in this building when it housed the Social Welfare Department (1980-88).

 

Since then it has been a rest home; now it is up-market apartments!
