Here is my most recent sketch for you to compare with the first one. It is the view from one of our windows, of a kowhai tree in the neighbour's back yard.
Yesterday I bought a sketching pad and two sets of coloured pens to try out. And I found a book about sketching on the internet and read it on my iPad. But I prefer Scott Wilson's book; more concise and simple for minds like mine!
